The domain now opens with an inspiring message from the siblings: “Hello! We are Jainam and Jivika – siblings from Dubai, UAE, on a mission to make a difference. Even though we’re just kids, we believe that age is only a number when it comes to spreading kindness and positivity. Our recent journey began during our summer holidays when we left our home in Dubai for 50 unforgettable days in India. We had a purpose: to connect with children from various backgrounds, share our love for learning, teach skills for studying and setting goals, and inspire them to dream big.”
This update has left many netizens curious, especially those who were following the story of the domain’s original owner — a Delhi-based tech enthusiast. Earlier this year, the developer bought JioHotstar.com, speculating a potential merger between Reliance Industries and Disney+ Hotstar. Inspired by Reliance’s past acquisitions, like the rebranding of Saavn to JioSaavn, he anticipated that the merger might lead to a new “JioHotstar” branding. He believed that his domain could play a key role in this rebranding, and he hoped to sell it to Reliance in exchange for funding his Cambridge studies, which required about Rs 1 crore.
The developer posted a letter on the site addressed to Reliance Industries, proposing the sale of the domain for his education fund. However, Reliance responded with a firm rejection, and instead of engaging in negotiations, the company threatened legal action against the developer for trademark infringement.
